Best hamper ever
Closet maid junkie

We redid ALL of our closets about 10 years ago. Used closet maid for all. This hamper was one of the best ideas we chose. I have never had any problems with it. I would definitely buy again.

Pretty good so far

First, a tip to anyone having the problem of this thing falling out of its track when its open. Take a pair of pliers (use a rag or paper towel so you don't mar the paint) and bend the U shaped part of the wire shelf slightly inward on each side. This will cause the brackets to be slightly closer together and angled slightly inward. Once I did this, it worked WAY better! I've only had the hamper for a few weeks, but so far so good.

Closetmaid Cloth Hamper -Don't Bother

Hamper cloth material is way too flimsy. Came apart at cloth handles where Velcro attatches to sliding metal rack after one year. This despise fact that only one person was living in house and did laundry on weekly basis. Don't bother buying as you 'll quickly have to replace.

This is a very good idea but it will not stay on track if you pull it open to far. So you can't put to much weight into the item. If so it will fall on the floor the hamper wires need to be a little wider so it won't fall when you open it.

Not so good

I think this is a good idea, but the way the wire rack/supports are made, they scrape the fabric of the hamper. So after not much use, the hamper is coming apart. And btw, Closetmaid won't stand behind this poor design. Had I caught this sooner, I would have taken it to the basement and used a grinder to grind off the ends of those problem wire pieces.
