I have the 16 inch version in my closet and love it.
I can stack my sweaters and clothes without crushing them, and they are easy to organize.
12 in is too narrow for many things, so I will likely make my own instead for a second closet.

Bought two of these, neither had the back panel board, the pieces were all mis-marked and matched nothing on the instructions, and the shelves did not appear to be all the same size, so how could it go together? It didn't - I returned them the same day.

Outer packaging should state that the unit MUST be wall mounted. Providing this info on a flyer inside the box is way too late. Recommending that the buyer has to look for the studs and if not found should consult a local hardware store is irritating. I live in a major city and now have to spend a total of $22.00 to bring this item home and then take it back.
One line on the box would have avoided this. I am very, very upset!

This is a very nice piece of inexpensive furniture that just fits where needed. I purchased one for books to place on top of another piece of furniture in one room. Now I'm ordering yet another one to house my CD/Radio/Tape player in another room. The size is perfect for condensing items so they are not scattered about.

For quick and easy storage for a vinyl collector this does the trick nicely. I doubled the two shelves into one to give the LP's more support. I'm already 12 deep and need plenty more. Best and easiest storage for a growing collection.
