Installing Shelving in Towers or Stacks

Shelving can also be installed to provide additional storage for stackable or large items that do not hang. Folded sweaters, boxes or cartons, linens, games or toys, and more can be easily stored in a shelf tower. These towers can run wall-to-wall or may be only a section of a wall.

Like all wire shelves, shelves in towers or stacks require wall clips no more than 12" apart. Usually, support poles are used, since support brackets would reduce the space available for large items. If the shelf tower ends at a wall, wall brackets are also used.
