Installing Long Hang Shelving

Long hang shelving is used for longer items, such as long coats, dresses, pants (when not folded over hangers), and so on. Long hang shelves are usually placed at 70" from the floor. The vertical position of the long hang shelf also allows for a shoe shelf to be installed below the long garments (see Installing Shoe Storage).

Wall clips are always required for hanging these shelves (see Installing Wall Clips). Depending on your installation, you may have wall brackets, support brackets or poles, and other hardware.
